Unaccompanied Children at Border are Climate Refugees

Washington (GGM) Analysis | March 25, 2021 by author & journalist Noreen Wise

For all of us climate warriors who are giving our 120 percent to educate the public on how to reduce our carbon footprints in our homes as well as our communities, which will result in lowering our atmospheric carbon level and curbing global warming, it seems as though we might know the ideal strategy that will help overcome the chronic border crossing challenge. After all, we’ve been posting and protesting about this for years.

Immigration Crisis Solved Years Ago | So Then, What is Trump Up To?

Washington (Gallant Gold Media Hill Report | Analysis | June 25, 2019) –  Is either Donald Trump or Stephen Miller aware that National Archives was established for the sole purpose of keeping biased morons like Trump and Miller from making the deadly mistakes these two are responsible for at our southern border?

Millions of documents dating back to 1st Congress, March 4, 1789, have been archived in a massive stone building, that sits half way between the Capitol and the White House, to aid our elected representatives, and our president. Look to the past to guide the future.

Scientists, medical professionals, the military, mathematicians, musicians… every profession and industry knows to study the past to guide the future. So then why not Donald Trump or Stephen Miller? This tragic and traumatic border crisis, inflicting heart wrenching pain and trauma, destroying families, injuring children, causing the demise of way too many, is inhumane and completely unAmerican.

The United States is the land of immigrants. There are literally several million documents regarding past immigration  policies and procedures that have been preserved in the National Archives so that we can do better today and in the future. There’s no justification whatsoever for destroying thousands and thousands of lives and families. It’s reprehensible. It’s predatory. It’s a crime against humanity.

“Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breath free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door.” ~Lady Liberty poem

So then, with so many vast resources and such wise guidance immediately available, why would Stephen Miller and Donald Trump dive into this cruel, evil sadistic approach? Or was that their intention all along.

It appears Trump and Miller are indeed relying on the past to guide their decision making regarding current border security. Hitler’s past. There are significant corallaries between Trump’s detention camps and Hitler’s concentration camps.

Further, prior to Hitler annihilating 6 million Jews in his gas chambers, Hitler’s initial strategy was to deport all Jews living in  Europe to the island of Madagascar off the Southeastern Coast of Africa.  Hitler proposed expelling one million Jews per year for four straight years. When this failed, Hitler threw up his hands and said something to the effect, “To hell with it. I’ll just murder them all”… and then immediately proceeded to do so.

Thus it appears Trump and Stephen Miller have intentionally concocted this savage, barbaric immigration solution. When dozens of very successful immigration policies, that have served our nation effectively for more than two centuries, are neatly categorized and stored within walking distance from the White House, but are ignored and kept hidden by Trump, the intention becomes self-evident.

Trump’s barbaric border security strategy is intentional, and criminal. This alone is grounds for Trump’s removal from office.

Trump Doesn’t Play Chess, Does He? | Kirstjen Nielsen’s Abrupt Departure

Washington (Gallant Gold Media Hill Report | Opinion | April 8, 2019) –  With Sunday evening’s sudden departure of DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, followed by the quick replacement of Kevin McAleenan as acting department of homeland security secretary, Trump may soon find that he’s inadvertently checkmated himself.

Screen Shot 2019-04-07 at 10.14.30 PM.png

Screen Shot 2019-04-07 at 10.14.11 PM.png

Trump isn’t a strategist. He relies on his gut. He lies. He’s hyperbolic. And he suffers from delusion. He’s now turned over nearly his entire cabinet in two short years. With an acting secretary leading the Department of Homeland Security, a department employing more than 240,000, caught in the confluence of several significant crises, it amounts to chaos.

Who is Kevin McAleenan? Mr. McAleenan was confirmed as by the Senate in 2018 as Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. He began his career with CBP in 2001 and served as Deputy Commissioner under Obama.

McAleenan is one of several acting secretaries. Additionally, we have Acting Secretary of Defense Patrick M. Shanahan, Acting Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt, and Acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney.

The truth is, not many will miss Kirstjen Nielsen. Her exit is reminiscent of Scott Pruitt’s and Steve Bannon’s departure. The American public is cheering. Nielsen will be remembered as a blind Trump loyalist. Complicit in her silence. Ripping apart thousands of traumatized families fleeing despotic regimes where they faced near certain death. Thousands of separated children were caged, many of whom have been sexually assaulted. And through it all, an overwhelming indifference to their plight, and the longterm psychological impact the trauma has inflicted on them. Stunningly, a recent report confirmed it will take at least two years to unite the children with their parents.

Kirstjen Nielsen was interviewed by Chris Cuomo during Cuomo Prime Time on Thursday evening April 4, 2019, the day before she met Trump at Calexico, CA and participated in a roundtable with law enforcement and border patrol. During the Cuomo Prime Time interview, Nielsen was a remade woman, speaking about the humanitarian  crisis at the border and aligning herself with a newfound understanding about this grim reality. It’s unclear what elevated Nielsen’s altered position. Perhaps it was the recent leaked internal military memos about how senseless it is to waste the valuable time of troops and resources at the border, in light of the fact that there are so many other more dangerous crises.

Trump is storming ahead, undaunted by potential blowback. He now claims our country is “FULL.” Whereas, just a month ago on March 2, 2019 at CPAC, Trump announced we needed more immigrants to fill hundreds of thousands of job openings that currently can’t be filled.

Screen Shot 2019-04-07 at 10.53.53 PM.png

“Captures”…? We capture terrorists, not asylum seekers.

Screen Shot 2019-04-07 at 11.31.00 PM.png

It appears Trump’s gut isn’t informing him about the precarious position he now will find himself. With so many acting secretaries, it will be difficult for Trump to be considered a legitimate candidate in the 2020 election. The acting secretaries are a weak link. This issue alone may be all that’s needed to dethrone Trump.

Many whisper that Trump wants to keep his acting secretaries in order to prevent being ousted by his cabinet using the 25th Amendment. Yet, will he be tempted to fill the roles if an advisor explains the acting secretaries undermine his re-election chances? Finding candidates for the official secretary positions may prove impossible. How many are willing to give up their careers to work for Trump for a few months? Potential candidates now know how Trump operates, and what his agenda is, and what his expectations are, so it seems unlikely that the qualified will accept the opportunity. That leaves the unqualified. Can they even be confirmed now that 21 GOP Senators are up for re-election in 2020 and have found their voices?

Is this checkmate?

DHS Secretary Nielsen’s Open Defiance of the American People

Washington (Gallant Gold Media Hill Report | Opinion | March 7, 2019) –  The festering disdain that seethes to the surface while trying to process DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen’s non answers to tough questions during the recent House Homeland Security Committee Hearing on Immigration & Border Security, reached a level of extreme disgust on Wednesday March 6, 2019, leaving viewers with a deep sense that Nielsen had proven herself incapable of managing the massive agency whose sole mission is to keep our nation safe.

Secretary Nielsen presented herself as woefully ill-prepared to provide the much needed facts and documentation to the most basic questions relating to issues so serious that the president has declared a National Emergency. This had a turbulent effect. At the center of this perpetual immigration and border security conflict, that has stretched across eighteen months of traumatic events, is one of two possible root causes. Secretary Nielsen is either severely unqualified or she’s incapable of acting on behalf of the American people.

Right out of the gate, no nonsense Representative Shelia Jackson Lee, directly questioned Nielsen’s loyalty to the American people, asking her point blank if she was free to make decisions in the best interest of the American people if it clashed with Trump’s interest.

“Can you independently make a decision contrary to the president of the United States, on behalf of the American people for what’s best for them?” ~Rep Jackson Lee

One would expect Secretary Nielsen to reply with a resounding, “Yes, of course.” Instead what was heard was:

“M’am, uh, what I can tell you is I take my oath with utmost, uh, extreme importance, uh-I always do my best.” ~ Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen

Representative Jackson Lee quickly interjected:

“Is your oath to the American people or is your oath to the president of the United States?”

Again, Nielsen’s response was slippery:

“No, Ma’am, the oath as you know is to the Constitution and the people.”

It was startling to hear what amounts to an outright admission that Nielsen bows to the president’s wishes. In a split second, the lighting blot realization that the Department of Homeland Security has been undermined, imparts a deep feeling of unsettledness. Changing the pronoun “your” to the definite article “the” boldly resonates with viewers. This is the textbook non answer to a direct question. Nielsen didn’t lie, instead she reassured her party-of-one listening back at the White House that she was indeed loyal to him.

It went straight downhill from there, with Representative Jackson Lee asking if Nielsen knew how many children were detained at the border… “Yes, I do.” … “How many?” … Nielsen replied something to the effect, “I don’t have that in front of me.”

Children’s lives are not a twisted word game. Twelve thousand children have been ripped from their parents arms. Locked into cages. Rampant sexual abuse. Yet, Nielsen can’t answer a straight question. Congress is up in arms. And our foreign enemies rub their hands with glee, a sparkle in their eye, plotting to destroy America, deducing that if this is the Secretary of America’s Department of Homeland Security, well then the cards are clearly stacked in their favor.

Sexual Assault of Children on Our Border

Washington (Gallant Gold Media Hill Report | Perspective | February 27, 2019) –  The House Family Separation Hearings this week were suffocating in the realization of how massive the family separation crisis is, how many thousands of innocent children have been emotionally, and many sexually, assaulted by staff, and the horrible prognosis this creates for their future.

How can these staggering statistics be the harsh reality that so many young children have to endure? “Follow your dreams.” … “America, the beacon of hope.” The reality is that much more perilous to cope with when idealistic youth are fleeing traumatic events, are on the run far from home, away from their families, with the only thing enabling them to persevere through the treacherous journey is the bright beacon on their horizon, endlessly pushing them forward through each and every stumbling block. But when they arrive, there’s no Lady Liberty greeting them along the Southern Border. No open arms. Just abuse .

“I’m deeply concerned with the high number of sexual assaults on unaccompanied children in the custody of the office of Refugees and Resettlement.” …  “One sexual assault per week.” ~Rep Ted Deutch

“The Forced Child Separation Policy will forever be a dark time in our nation’s history. It undermines our moral standing in the world, that generations of Americans have worked so hard, and in some cases given their lives, to build.” ~Rep Ted Deutch

The facts that won’t won’t change unless we demand accountability and consequences:

  • systemic sexual assaults by staff on unaccompanied children
  • 154 allegations of sexual assault reported to DOJ
  • 1 sexual assault per week
  • there’s a huge problem with adults abusing children
  • Rep Ted Deutch is pointing out that DHS was fully aware that this was an alarming issue, that there was documented history, yet DHS still placed thousands of unaccompanied children in this dangerous environment
  • “the details of these sexual abuse allegations are shocking”

Tell Congress… we must move forward in demanding this threat to children be eliminated.

Longest Shutdown Ever | GOP Senators 2020

Washington (GGM) Analysis | January 12, 2019
NoreenProfilePicHillReport-75 by Noreen Wise

It’s Friday night January 11, 2019 just before midnight. Mitch McConnell is already back home in Kentucky, tucked safely away in his expansive homestead, sipping champagne perhaps, while 800,000 Americans are gripped with trauma as we head into the 22 day of the longest shutdown in American history.

This shutdown has no logical justification. It feels like we’ve been viciously attacked by a foreign enemy… similar to the perilous grip of a cyber attack that inflicts grave financial harm.

Mitch McConnell is the Senate Majority Leader and is ultimately the most responsible for this nightmare. After two years of enabling Trump to defy the U.S. Constitution, and two years of McConnell failing at his responsibility to be a check on the Executive Branch, the cumulative result is a treasonous president who’s a threat to American citizens and a danger to the world.

McConnell could easily rally his GOP colleagues to follow through with their oath of office, and yet he defiantly refuses. It’s galling.

The following are 21 GOP Senators who are up for reelection in 2020. May the self-serving, anti-American amongst them, who’ve corrupted their oath of office by their flagrant inaction and indifference that’s traumatizing American citizens, be the final straw that permanently marks them, and makes these their final days in office.

  • Lamar Alexander (R-TN)
  • Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV)
  • Bill Cassidy (R-LA)
  • Susan Collins (R-ME)
  • John Cornyn (R-TX)
  • Tom Cotton (R-AR)
  • Steve Daines (R-MT)
  • Mike Enzi (R-WY)
  • Joni Ernst (R-IA)
  • Cory Gardner (R-CO)
  • Lindsey Graham (R-SC)
  • Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MI)
  • James Inhofe (R-OK)
  • Mitch McConnell (R-KY)
  • David Perdue (R-GA)
  • Jim Risch (R-ID)
  • Pat Roberts (R-KS)
  • Mike Rounds (R-SD)
  • Ben Sasse (R-NE)
  • Dan Sullivan (R-AK)
  • Thom Tillis (R-NC)

Below are what some had to say on the eve of the longest shutdown in US history… a shutdown that strongly resembles a Russian cyber attack.

Senator Mitch McConnell did NOT tweet on Friday January 11, 2019 before heading home for the weekend.

Senator Susan Collins did NOT tweet on Friday January 11, 2019, the eve of what’s to become the longest shutdown in US history, that will harm 800,000 innocent Americans.

Screen Shot 2019-01-12 at 12.14.52 AM.png

Screen Shot 2019-01-12 at 12.16.07 AM.png

Screen Shot 2019-01-12 at 12.16.53 AM.png

Senator Ben Sasse also did NOT tweet on Friday January 11, 2019, the eve of what’s to become the longest shutdown in US history, that will harm 800,000 innocent Americans.

Senator Shelley Moore Capito did NOT tweet on Friday January 11, 2019, the eve of what’s to become the longest shutdown in US history, that will harm 800,000 innocent Americans. But she did retweet  the GOP video on January 10, 219.

Screen Shot 2019-01-13 at 11.51.50 PM.png

Senator Lamar Alexander seems to have the right attitude, meeting with constituents on January 11, 2019 to discuss with them the best way to end the shutdown. He’s very atypical compared to his GOP counterparts.

Screen Shot 2019-01-12 at 12.24.17 AM.png

Screen Shot 2019-01-12 at 12.26.58 AM.png

Screen Shot 2019-01-12 at 12.28.32 AM.png

Senator Tom Cotton, no mention of the shutdown on January 11, 2019, but Senator Cotton did bring up the border o January 9, 2019, approximately 24 hours after Trump’s failed Presidential Address.

Screen Shot 2019-01-12 at 12.34.25 AM.png

Senator Bill Cassidy actually has a good idea, but the cartel money should be used for modern technology rather than a pointless medieval wall.

Screen Shot 2019-01-13 at 11.58.27 PM.png

Screen Shot 2019-01-13 at 11.59.42 PM.png

Senator Steve Daines didn’t tweet about the shutdown on January 11, 2019, but he did tweet about protecting public lands and working across party lines which seems to subliminally suggest he’d like to work with Dems to reopen the government.

Screen Shot 2019-01-14 at 12.07.53 AM.png

Senator Mike Enzi is another GOP Senator who showed an air of bipartisanship by cosponsoring bill to end government shutdowns forever. This works.

Screen Shot 2019-01-14 at 12.15.11 AM.png

Senator Joni Ernst did NOT tweet on Friday January 11, 2019 about the shutdown, the eve of what’s to become the longest shutdown in US history, that will harm 800,000 innocent Americans. But she did show complete indifference to the plight of the 800,000 federal employees by tweeting about her own pet project.

Screen Shot 2019-01-14 at 10.57.48 PM.png

Senator Cory Gardner did NOT tweet on Friday January 11, 2019 about the shutdown, the eve of what’s to become the longest shutdown in US history, that will harm 800,000 innocent Americans. But he did show complete indifference to the plight of the 800,000 federal employees by tweeting about his own pet project.

Screen Shot 2019-01-14 at 11.02.17 PM.png

Senator Thom Tillis did NOT tweet on Friday January 11, 2019 about the shutdown, the eve of what’s to become the longest shutdown in US history, that will harm 800,000 innocent Americans. But he did show complete indifference to the plight of the 800,000 federal employees by tweeting about his own pet project.

Screen Shot 2019-01-12 at 12.18.55 AM.png

Senator David Perdue did NOT tweet on Friday January 11, 2019, the eve of what’s to become the longest shutdown in US history, that will harm 800,000 innocent Americans.

Border Solutions for $5 Billion | No Wall

In light of the hundreds of thousands of social media posts and tweets over the holiday weekend amidst the partial government shutdown, which occurred because of Trump’s willfully blind demand that $5 billion be earmarked to build a border wall, which the vast majority of us know is a futile mission considering how simple and easy it is to tunnel under, or climb over the wall – after all, where there’s a will there’s a way… and our ancestors certainly proved this when they crossed the Atlantic, or trekked across the Sierra Nevadas – it’s time to quickly brainstorm solutions since our president can’t.

Trump is obstinate. He’s not a flexible thinker. Trump latches onto an idea from last century, or in this case, from over a millennium ago, and refuses to let it go and sadly appears completely unable to adapt to reality. Because Trump’s thinking is cemented, he’s not the fittest to find a workable solution.

It’s time to drowned social media with bright ideas. This proposal is a work in progress, but solutions are only found by taking the first step.

Immigration and our AMERICAN PRINCIPLES:

  • Immigration is part of the American DNA, it’s what has enabled us to become a superpower of goodness that lights the world
  • We must open our doors to asylum seekers
  • We must have an efficient and effective path to citizenship
  • Dreamers must be protected
  • We must stop guns and drugs and the cartels from crossing the border, as well as other criminals

How to properly apply $5 Billion to securing our border, as well as maintain our American principles:

  • SUGGESTION: $5 Billion can be used for infrastructure
  • Many of the jobs created can be given to asylum seekers and migrants seeking citizenship
  • Back in the 1800’s, once the trans continental railroad was built, and the railway barons (Vanderbilt, Astor, Carnegie) dreamed of towns developing across the heartland, they went in search of immigrants and made deals with them to relocate to America to farm the heartland, offering homesteads, travel expenses and opportunity; more than five million Germans flooded in to what became known as “the German triangle
  • Why not do something similar with the current immigration crisis, create small communities, provide infrastructure job opportunities similar to what we did during the great depression when damns, bridges and highways were built through the WPA and the New Deal
  • If it worked then, it can certainly work now; it’s great to already have a blueprint to follow

This is a seed idea that needs to be watered, nurtured and given sunlight. Stamping it out without coming up with another idea is pointless. Five billion for the wall is also pointless.
